Do you use Rapidshare sometimes?

I do, and I can't imagine my life without file changing...

What is Rapidshare? According to Wikipedia RapidShare is a German-owned one-click hosting pay- and free-service (with certain restrictions and limitations) website that operates from Switzerland and is financed by the subscriptions of paying users. Rapidshare is one of the world's largest file-hosting sites with millions of files stored on its servers. As of August 2008, according to Alexa, Rapidshare.com is the 16th most visited website globally.

What's going on now? Will they close my favorite file sharing site??? (read the news)

Is it possible to download from Hulu?

A week ago I would say: "Of course, NOT! They have a protection on the site, against the downloading video!!!"
I WANTED download House, M.D. last episode but it didn't allow me.
Today I found a great news - TuneCab Online is able to download from Hulu.com. I've already downloaded what I wanted so don't have time to post more...

How does Blackberry feel when new iPhone is coming?

The future for Blackberry doesn't look that bright either, since the same survey says only fourteen percent of smartphone users would switch from another phone to the Blackberry. Crowd Science's survey follows a report of stagnant subscriber and shipment growth for its wide range of devices from Blackberry maker, Research In Motion.

Today's Top Movies from iTunes

I decided 2 check iTunes top movie list. Nothing special as for me...

* Gran Torino - Clint Eastwood

Academy Award-winner Clint Eastwood ("Million Dollar Baby," "Mystic River") directs and stars as disgruntled Korean War veteran Walt, who sets out to reform his neighbor, a young Hmong teenager, who tried to steal Kowalski's prized possession: his 1972 Gran Torino. The two learn to grow beyond their own prejudices and struggles by fighting together to change the harsh realities of racial gang violence in their neighborhood.

* He's Just Not That Into You - Ken Kwapis

Remember that really cute guy who said he'd call...and didn't? Maybe "He's Just Not That into You." An all-star cast looks for love and finds laughs in this savvy, sexy, right-now rom-com. Based on the runaway (like some guys you know) bestseller by Sex and the City series writers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, Hes Just Not That into You sparkles with zingy aha moments any survivor of the dating wars will recognize. See it with someone you'd like to love.

* Valkyrie - Bryan Singer

At the height of WWII, a group of German officers hatched a plot to assassinate Hitler and seize control of the military command in order to end the war. The operation was code-named "Valkyrie", for the emergency plan that was meant to be used in case of a revolt against the Nazi government. This plan had been modified by the conspirators to ensure their success, but for various reasons the plot failed when finally carried out on 20 July 1944. The conspirators of the inner circle were shot after a kangaroo trial or sentenced to death soon after. Starring Tom Cruise as the Colonel who was the main force behind the conspiracy, the distinguished cast also includes Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Terence Stamp and Eddie Izzard. Directed by Bryan Singer.

* Taken - Pierre Morel

When his estranged daughter is kidnapped in Paris, a former spy (Liam Neeson) sets out to find her at any cost. Relying on his special skills, he tracks down the ruthless gang that abducted her and launches a one-man war to bring them to justice and rescue his daughter.

* Twilight - Catherine Hardwicke

Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) doesn't expect much when she moves to the small town of Forks, Washington, until she meets the mysterious and handsome Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson)- a boy who's hiding a dark secret: he's a vampire. As their worlds and hearts collide, Edward must battle the bloodlust raging inside him as well as a caterie of undead that would make Bella their prey. Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling sensation by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight adds a dangerous twist to the classic story of star-crossed lovers.

* New In Town - Jonas Elmer

Lucy Hill (Renée Zellweger) is an ambitious, up and coming executive living in Miami. She loves her shoes, she loves her cars and she loves climbing the corporate ladder. When she is offered a temporary assignment - in the middle of nowhere - to restructure a manufacturing plant, she accepts the opportunity, knowing a big promotion is close at hand. What begins as a straight forward job assignment becomes a life changing experience as Lucy discovers greater meaning in her life and more unexpectedly, the man of her dreams (Harry Connick, Jr.).

* Role Models (Unrated) - David Wain

Prepare yourself for the most irreverent and funny comedy that brings new meaning to juvenile delinquency! As the world's least-likely mentors, Danny (Paul Rudd) & Wheeler (Seann William Scott) must put aside their selfish, sarcastic and party-driven ways in order to give two odd, foul-mouthed kids invaluable wisdom about life, love and heavy metal. With a supporting cast of comic all-stars including Elizabeth Banks, Jane Lynch, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Bobb'e J. Thompson, Role Models is "a surprisingly clever comedy" (Claudia Puig, USA Today).

* Fanboys - Kyle Newman

It's 1998 and Star Wars fanboys across the globe eagerly await the release of Episode I. But for Eric, Linus, Hutch and Windows the term "fanboy" is more than just a title, it's a badge of honor. Spurred by impatience and an undying loyalty to their cause, these former high school friends reunite to undertake the road trip of their fan-tasies. Traveling West across the country to visit their Mecca - George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch - the plan is to break in, steal the film and stake their claim as the first fanboys in history to watch it. But to secure their place in the fanboy hall of fame, they'll have to contend with bizarre bikers, a crazy pimp, a deranged group of trekkies and the quiet intensity of William Shatner.

* The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - David Fincher

"I was born under unusual circumstances." And so begins "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans, from the end of World War I in 1918 into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be. Directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett with Taraji P. Henson, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond, "Benjamin Button," is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.

* The Flying Scotsman - Douglas Mackinnon

The true story of Graeme Obree, the champion cyclist who built his bicycle from old bits of washing machines who won his championship only to have his title stripped from him and his mental health problems which he has suffered since.

Enjoy new Woody Allen's comedy from 1 July!

I really love Woody Allen's cynic yet romantic comedies. So can't wait to see 'Whatever Works'. Watched the trailer (I will upload it here ASAP)and it seems to be classical director's style - sour comedy about relationships of an old man and very young woman...

50 Cent Brings Back Hard-Core Hip-Hop

This is what he says about his plans: "What I fell in love with initially ain't even in the mutha----in' art form anymore. It's cool because there's an opportunity for me to become [that] to a whole new generation ... because of their age group, they're not aware of it.
"Now I gotta shift the energy," 50 added. "I gotta make them follow me. After they follow me, they'll be able to make real hip-hop records and make them successful. I have to have a successful project with really good hip-hop music to make these people go, 'OK, we can make [a real hip-hop album].' I have to be successful to make the record companies go, 'We can support this guy that wrote a rap album' instead of feeling like 'We need him to go on this record with Ne-Yo or Dream. Get somebody on there to do the hook.' That's the concept of what they feel they can present to the public and that's not what the f--- I was going on when I started."

Opera becomes a web server from a web browser

In an announcement early Tuesday morning, Opera revealed the parameters of Unite, a product it says will "enable a whole new class of social software on the Web." The platform is designed to better facilitate multiuser online applications and to give users greater control of their data even while making it available (if they so choose) to others online.
Opera showed an assortment of Unite-built applications, including a Fridge application (put a sticky note on your friend's computer screen!) that displayed some interesting thinking about how users might interact when there's no need for large services such as Flickr or Twitter to mediate the process.

The 13th Annual Webby Celebration took place in NY on June 8, 2009

Jimmy Fallon accepted his Webby Person of the Year Award with a nod to his Late Night predecessor, saying “Thank God Conan got promoted.” The talk show host won the award—considered the Internet’s version of an Oscar—for using the Web, including a blog and Twitter, to interact with fans and prepare for his Late Night takeover.

Before the ceremony, held in New York City on June 8, Fallon elaborated on Conan O’Brien’s promotion and his first week as host of The Tonight Show. “Loved it. It’s a good lead-in for us,” Fallon said. “It’s strong, it’s young, and our numbers are staying strong.”

Fallon’s former SNL castmate, Seth Meyers, hosted the ceremony for the second consecutive year and talked about the Webbys' growing popularity. “I know it’ll really be a big deal when I’m no longer a big enough name to host it,” he joked.

Other winners included Lisa Kudrow
for her comedic performance as Dr. Fiona Wallace in online series Web Therapy, about a therapist who video chats with her patients. But Kudrow hopes e-therapy doesn’t become the next Twitter. “A therapist doing online therapy…to do three five-minute sessions? It’s a really bad idea!” she said.

Sarah Silverman took home the best actress prize for her two of her viral videos, the YouTube hit “I’m F----ing Matt Damon” and her call-to-action commercial “The Great Schlep,” which asked Jewish kids to visit their grandparents in Florida and convince them to vote for Barack Obama.

And since the Webby’s celebrate everything online, Arianna Huffington, who won for best political blog, used her five-word speech to defend TheHuffingtonPost.com’s domination over print media: “I didn’t kill newspapers, OK?”

Google Wave is a new tool for communication and collaboration on the web, coming later this year.

A "wave" is equal parts conversation and document, where people can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

Here's how it works: In Google Wave you create a wave and add people to it. Everyone on your wave can use richly formatted text, photos, gadgets, and even feeds from other sources on the web. They can insert a reply or edit the wave directly. It's concurrent rich-text editing, where you see on your screen nearly instantly what your fellow collaborators are typing in your wave. That means Google Wave is just as well suited for quick messages as for persistent content — it allows for both collaboration and communication. You can also use "playback" to rewind the wave and see how it evolved.

Budget shopping tips: MP3 players (from http://media-saver.com)

If you’re on a budget & shopping for a fresh MP3 player, here are a not many general tips for locking down a suitable, satisfactory deal.

First & foremost, do some math so you is able to obtain a realistic idea of how a lot storage you will need for all the music, photos, & movie you wish for to obtain on the go. The less storage you need, the cheaper the price. If an MP3 player includes a slot for memory expansion, you is able to always increase the capacity down the road.

Also, be realistic of the functions you need. MP3 players that assistance movie playback are fun at first, yet not many people possess the period to transfer & view movie on a regular basis. You is able to discover excellent audio-only MP3 players for under $50, yet a decent video-capable device is hard to discover for less than $100.

If you’re specifically shopping for an iPod,
you’re going to possess a tougher period snagging a bargain. Apple holds a tight leash on prices, & sales are scant. You is able to always shop Apple’s selection of refurbished iPods, available straight through the company’s online store. College students & faculty is able to in addition obtain advantage of Apple’s annual Back to School promotion, which obtains location June through August, & typically offers specially priced bundles of iPods & Mac computers.

Back-to-school sales aside, we recommend not buying an MP3 player in late summer if you’re after the latest & greatest tech. Apple & Microsoft typically release their fresh models in the fall. That said, if you’re OK with being a step behind, summer sales is able to be a excellent manner to snap up deals as stores clear their shelves of final year’s models.

"Terminator Salvation"

This weekend I watched the "Terminator Salvation". It was impressive, but I was expecting more...

"Terminator Salvation" is set in post-apocalyptic 2018, where John Connor (Christian Bale) is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future that Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

New iPhone Cuts a Bunch of Prices

It comes with a more-powerful three-megapixel camera than previous generations. The camera will also be able to shoot video. The phone will include still photo and video-editing software, and it will throw in hands-free voice control. Battery life has been extended, Schiller said.

While the new 3GS will begin selling for US$199 for a 16 GB version and $299 for 32 GBs starting June 19 (with a two-year service agreement), Apple's loudest shot across the bow at the rising tide of smartphone competitors like Palm (Nasdaq: PALM) More about Palm and Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM) More about Research In Motion may be its new $99 price tag for the current iPhone 3G More about 3G. That goes into effect immediately.

Brad and Angelina Split: true or not?

There are currently a lot of rumors about probable split-up of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt couple. Some tabloids are telling us that their marriage is in trouble and another thought is that marriage is fine. Where is the truth? What really happens in Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's relationships? In truth, nobody knows if this star couple is splitting up. But I wish them happiness and wellbeing. What is your opinion about this?

Have you seen "Twilight"? Ready for "Twilight: New Moon"?

Here is the trailer I downloaded and converted with TuneCab YouTube Ripper.

iPhone 3.0 will be released in July

Although Apple has shared plenty of details about its iPhone 3.0 software, the company has not made any official announcements about a hardware upgrade for the popular iPhone. However, evidence including screenshots, leaked photos and even a sentence in tech columnist Walt Mossberg’s review of the Palm Pre suggests a hardware upgrade is imminent. Mossberg’s review hints that the hardware upgrade may be revealed at WWDC next week.
Kai Yu has been developing his instant-messaging app BeeJive to work with iPhone 3.0’s new push-notification feature, and he strongly believes the OS will be ready for download by WWDC.
“3.0 is pretty stable at this point, so I would be surprised if it didn’t come out next week, especially since WWDC is becoming Apple’s big event, like Macworld of the past,” Yu said.
Apple recently release iTunes 8.2, which includes compatibility with iPhone 3.0, indicating that the OS is close to completion.

Don't like DRM? Express yourself with anti-DRM T-shirt!

And again, one of the anti-DRM T-shirt design

A new version of Sony's PlayStation Portable is expected to be launched at the E3 video games show.

Sony's John Koller said: "It's a 3.8-inch screen, it's 43% lighter than the PSP-3000, 16 gigs flash memory, Bluetooth support and all digital content so the UMD drive goes away.

"So it's going to be something a lot of consumers like - download straight to a hard drive."

A spokesman for Sony would not confirm the launch of the PSP Go but said any announcements would be given on Tuesday.

Industry leader Nintendo is expected to focus on new software for its popular Wii console.
