In just a year, there were downloaded more than 1.5 billion applications from the App Store, as Apple announced. The App Store is the largest app store in the world and it now contains more than 65,000 applications. It provides the 100,000 developers in the iPhone Developer program an easy way to reach iPhone and iPod touch customers in 77 countries around the world.
